BARB, the Broadcasters Audience Research Board, have now revealed the ratings for programmes that have been broadcast over the Christmas period. The ratings reveal that the recently aired Doctor Who Christmas special, The Next Doctor, was watched by 13.1 million people. These ratings make Doctor Who the fifth most watched programme of last year and the second most watched programme of Christmas Day 2008, losing out to the new Wallace and Gromit film which was watched by 16.15 million. The Next Doctor is now the ninth most watched episode of Doctor Who in it's entire history. What are your thoughts on these Doctor Who ratings?
