The next issue of Doctor Who Magazine which will be released tomorrow reveals that all four Doctor Who 2009 specials will be broadcast in High Definition. The high definition specials will be shown on BBC HD but will also be shown as normal on BBC One. This also means that the BBC may possibly release Blu-Ray Doctor Who DVD's and continue to show Doctor Who in high definition for series five and beyond. The first Doctor Who special, Planet of the Dead which features Michelle Ryan will air at Easter time on BBC One. Will you be watching Doctor Who in HD?

Yay this is good news, im glad this is happening, now Im gonna buy Doctor Who on blu-ray (if they are released on blu-ray lol)!
