Doctor Who Visual Effects Success

Doctor Who has won an award at the seventh Visual Effects Society Awards for the matte paintings from the episodes, Silence in the Library and Forest of the Dead. The paintings were created by Simon Wickers, Charlie Bennett, Tim Barter and Arianna Lago and The Gallifrey Vortex would like to congratulate them on their win. The Cyberking effects by The Mill from last year's Doctor Who Christmas special created were also nominated for an award but unfortuantely lost out to Battlestar Galactica.
