The Sun and The Telegraph are today reporting that Matt Smith, the actor who will be playing The Eleventh Doctor, has signed a deal with the BBC to play the role for five years. Both of the newspapers are claiming that Matt Smith will receive £200,000 each year for playing The Doctor. Apparently, a BBC insider said: “Bosses don’t want Matt doing a David and leaving when things are going great.” Matt Smith will star as The Eleventh Doctor in the fifth series of Doctor Who which will be broadcast next year. Please be aware that the BBC has not confirmed these reports, meaning they may be fake and completely made up.

Good to hear that Matt Smith will be staying for a while, but I dont want David Tennant to leave :(
