Doctor Who: The Second Visual Dictionary

Dorling Kindersley have revealed the cover and details for the new and updated, Doctor Who: The Visual Dictionary. The book was previously released in 2007 but has now been updated and extended with information for newer Doctor Who episodes. The synopsis for the new editon of the Doctor Who Visual Dictionary has not yet been released but you can read the synopsis for the first edition below:

Doctor Who: The Visual Dictionary is a lavishly illustrated guide to all the characters, aliens, monsters, locations and technology of the successful new Doctor Who series. New photography expands the content of available and online material, revealing more in-depth details, from the fascinating aliens to the demise of the Time Lords. Comprehensive index and glossary provides quick reference to the book's contents and an easy-to-follow guide to the technology and terminology of the Doctor Who universe. Using a mix of crystal-clear annotated photography and newly commissioned cross-section artworks, every spread of this book shows you the Doctor Who characters, technology and locations in graphic detail.

The book consists of 112 pages and is written by both Jacqueline Rayner and Andrew Darling. It will go on sale across the United Kingdom and Ireland on the 20th of April this year and will be sold at the RRP of £14.99.
