The 407th issue of Doctor Who Magazine which was released on Thursday includes news on the second 2009 special. In the magazine, Russell T Davies, revealed that the last three Doctor Who 2009 specials will be broadcast at some point during the second half of the year. You can read an extract of what Russell T Davies said in the magazine below:
"The title of 4.16 will be revealed at the end of Planet of the Dead, along with a short trail, in which you'll see excerpts from what promises to be on of our scariest adventures ever. Events are going to darken around the Tenth Doctor as he heads towards the end of his tenure, and it all starts in Episode 4.16, as he and his co-stars are plunged into a world of terror, and we can no longer guarantee that the Doctor will escape unscathed!"
Doctor Who Magazine magazine also reveals that Chook Sibtain who appeared in The Sarah Jane Adventures story, Warriors of Kudlak, as Mark Granthan will appear in the second Doctor Who special. Sharon Duncan Brewster, Alan Ruscoe, Aleksandar Mikic, Cosima Shaw, Michael Goldsmith and Gemma Chan have all also been confirmed for roles in the second special.
