Matt Smith recently visited France to promote his upcoming short film at the Cannes Film Festival and was interviewed by the BBC News reporter, Razia Iqbal. The interview in which Matt Smith talks about his upcoming role as The Eleventh Doctor in Doctor Who was broadcast on BBC News last night and an extended version has now been released online. The extended interview can be seen below:Matt Smith will star as The Doctor in the fifth series of Doctor Who which is set to be broadcast in Spring 2010. David Tennant will continue to play The Doctor for three one-off special episodes this year, before Matt Smith takes over the role.
