David Tennent, the actor who is best known to Doctor Who fans as The Tenth Doctor, appeared on GMTV this morning, where he revealed the time and date that the second Doctor Who special, The Waters of Mars, will be broadcast. Like many fans speculated, the episode will be broadcast on Sunday the fiftheenth of November, at 7.00pm on BBC One and on the BBC HD channel. The special episode sees The Doctor, as played by David Tennant, land on the planet Mars in the year 2059, where he meets Adelaide, as played by Lindsay Duncan, and encounters a vicious water-based creature that is possessing the crew of Bowie Base One, and threatening to poison the Earth's waters.
