Earlier tonight, the BBC showed the first clip from this year's Doctor Who Christmas special, The End of Time part one, as part of their annual Children in Need telethon. The brand new clip runs for approximately three minutes and sees The Doctor meet Ood Sigma on the Ood Sphere, 100 years after the planet was last visited by him. The new clip can be seen below: Doctor Who: The End of Time part one will be broadcast at Christmas time on BBC One and on the BBC HD Channel, with the most likely air date thought to be Christmas day.
