Today, The Eternity Trap, the fourth story of The Sarah Jane Adventures series three, will conclude in it's second part. The episode is written by Phil Ford, and sees Sarah Jane, Clyde, and Rani trapped in Erasmus Darkening's eternal prison, while a mysterious creature continues to stalk the grounds. The official synopsis for today's episode can be read below:Sarah Jane and the gang discover the secrets of Erasmus Darkening, in the second and concluding part of The Eternity Trap, but are they too late? As ghosts from the past rise up, and the quest to find the missing children reaches a climax, it seems that nothing can stop the ancient alchemist's rise to victory.
The Eternity Trap part two will be broadcast today at 4.35pm on BBC One and on BBC HD, and will be available to watch on BBC iPlayer shortly after. The third series of The Sarah Jane Adventures will continue in part one of Mona Lisa's Revenge, which will be broadcast across the U.K next Thursday at the usual time.
