Today, the sixth and final story of The Sarah Jane Adventures series three, The Gift, will begin being broadcast on BBC One and on BBC HD. The first part of the story will see Sarah Jane's old enemies, The Slitheen family, return, and the family's rivals, The Blathereen, arrive on Earth with a gift for the human race. The episode's synopsis can be read below:Sarah Jane, Luke, Clyde and Rani face an old enemy, the green Slitheen, in the penultimate episode of this series of The Sarah Jane Adventures. When the Slitheen’s latest scheme is halted, their rivals, the Blathereen, arrive. Declaring peace between the planets, they offer Sarah Jane a gift – one that might change the future of the human race forever.
The Gift part one will be broadcast today at 4.35pm on BBC One and on the BBC HD channel, and the story will conclude in it's second part which will be broadcast at the same time tomorrow.
