BARB, the Broadcasters Audience Research Board, recently made the Appreciation Index available for the third Doctor Who special of the year, The End of Time part one. The special which was broadcast for the first time on BBC One on Christmas Day received an appreciation index of 87, the second highest appreciation index of the day, beaten by ITV One's transmission of Gladiators which was given an AI of 89. The final ratings for The End of Time part one will be released by the Broadcasters Audience Research Board shortly and will be posted here, on The Gallifrey Vortex, as soon as they are revealed. What are your thoughts on this?
