BARB, the Broadcasters Audience Research Board, have made the final and accurate ratings available for the Doctor Who Christmas special, The End of Time part one. When the special was broadcast for the first time on BBC One and on the BBC HD channel in the United Kingdom last month, it was watched by 12.04 million people, BARB has confirmed. The overnight ratings released after on Boxing Day stated that the episode was watched by ten million, two million less then the final results, and the episode was given an appreciation index of 87. The final ratings for The End of Time part two will be released by the Broadcasters Audience Research Board in a few weeks and will be posted here, on The Gallifrey Vortex, some time after.
