The Eleventh Hour Running Length Revealed

BBC News correspondent, Lizo Mzimba, has now confirmed the running length for the first episode of Doctor Who series five, The Eleventh Hour. He revealed that the episode, written by Steven Moffat and introducing Matt Smith and Karen Gillan as The Eleventh Doctor and Amy Pond, will run for approximately sixty minutes in length when it is broadcast on BBC One and on the BBC HD channel this Spring. Lizo Mzimba however did not reveal whether the other twelve episodes of the series will run for sixty minutes or revert to the forty-five minute format which has been used through most episodes since the show came back in 2005.
