The BBC Press Office has today released the official synopsis for the second episode of Doctor Who series five, The Beast Below. The episode which sees The Doctor take Amy Pond for her first voyage through time will be transmitted on BBC One on Saturday the tenth of April at a currently unknown time. The official synopsis for The Beast Below can be read here below:
The Doctor takes Amy to the distant future, where she finds Britain in space. Starship UK houses the future of the British people, as they search the stars for a new home. But as Amy explores, she encounters the terrifying Smilers and learns a deadly truth inside the Voting Booth.
The fifth series of Doctor Who will begin transmission on Saturday the third of Apirl with The Eleventh Hour, and will continue on the tenth of April with the Beast Below, which will be followed by Victory of the Daleks on the eighteenth of April. The official synopsis for The Beast Below will be released by the BBC Press Office next Thursday, and the synopses for the other episodes will continue to be released on Thursdays from then.
