New Doctor Who Confidential For Series Five

The BBC Press Office have revealed that behind-the-scenes Doctor Who show, Doctor Who Confidential, will be returning for the fifth series of Doctor Who. The new series of the show, consisting of thirteen episodes, will feature a brand new logo, and will begin straight after The Eleventh Hour next Saturday. The show's brand new logo can be seen above, and the official synopsis for the first episode of the fifth series, Call me the Doctor, is available to read online below:

Go behind the scenes on Matt Smith’s first episode as the Time Lord with a tour of the new TARDIS with the star and production designer Edward Thomas. There’s also a glimpse of the read-through inwhich the actors, including latest companion Karen Gillan (Amy Pond), learn how the new team will be introduced to the audience, as well as an interview with new head writer Steven Moffat.

The first episode of Doctor Who series five, The Eleventh Hour, will be broadcast next Saturday on BBC One and on the BBC HD channel at 6:20pm, and will be followed by it's accompanying episode of Doctor Who Confidential, Call me the Doctor, at 7:20pm over on BBC Three.
