Online retailers are now taking orders for the first DVD volume of Doctor Who Series five. The DVD will be available in both standard and in BluRay formats, and will include the first three episodes of the series; The Eleventh Hour, The Beast Below, and Victory of the Daleks, all of which are set to be broadcast on BBC One and on BBC HD this Spring. The DVD will also include The Monster Diaries, a brand new extra produced by the team behind Doctor Who Confidential, featuring previously unseen footage and exclusive comments from the cast and crew. The cover art at the top of this post is not final and is most likely to change across upcoming weeks, but the final design will be posted here when revealed. Doctor Who: Series Five Volume One will be released across the United Kingdom and Ireland on June the seventh, being sold at a recommended retail price of £15.99 for the DVD format and being sold at £19.99 for the BluRay.

I'm really excited about the series and this dvd but I don't like the cover. it should have matt smith on it.
