The BBC Press Office have today revealed the official synopsis for the sixth episode of Doctor Who's fifth series, entitled Vampires in Venice. The episode will see The Doctor and Amy Pond take another trip back through time in the Tardis, this time with Rory to Venice, where some people are not what they seem to be. The episode's official synopsis can be read below:
Dessicated corpses, terror in the canal and a visit to the sinister House of Calvierri – the Doctor takes Amy and Rory for a romantic mini-break, as the Tardis touches down once again. But 16th-century Venice is not as it should be. The city has been sealed to protect it from the Plague, although Rosanna Calvierri may have other plans...
Doctor Who: Vampires in Venice will be broadcast on BBC One and on the BBC HD channel on the eighth of May, with an exact time yet to be announced.
