The BBC Press Office has today released the official synopsis for the ninth episode of Doctor Who series five, Cold Blood. The episode is the second of a two-parter which will see The Doctor, Amy, and Rory, land on Earth in 2015, where they encounter the Silurians attempting to reclaim Earth once more. The synopsis for this episode of the new series can be read below:
It is the most important day in the history of Earth: the dawn of a new age of harmony or the start of its final war. In the latest episode of the time-travelling drama, written by Chris Chibnall, The Doctor must face his most difficult challenge yet. It is a battle in which he cannot take sides and a day when nobody must die…
The episode is set to be transmitted on both BBC One and on BBC HD on Saturday the twenty-ninth of May, with the current time set as 6.25pm, although that could change. The synopsis for the preceding episode, The Hungry Earth, can be read by clicking here in an older post. What do you think of the synopsis?
