Doctor Who will leap out of the screen later this year, if a report by Broadcast is correct. The report claims that the same trailer which will be transmitted on Saturday evening on BBC One and on the official Doctor Who website will be shown in 3D at participating cinemas before 3D showings of Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland. According to the article, an apparent BBC spokesperson said: “Doctor Who is the appropriate vehicle for 3D. It just fits. It’s a great way to introduce and showcase the new Doctor to younger viewers.” Although Broadcast is reliable for Doctor Who news, this 3D trailer has not yet been confirmed by the BBC, but more news regarding this will be posted. What are your thoughts on this news?
