Earlier today, English actor Neil Gaiman attended a question and answer session at the SFX Weekender convention, where he revealed that he will be writing an episode of Doctor Who. This has been rumoured since 2008 but Neil will not be writing an episode for the show's fifth series, as the full list of writers has already been revealed, suggesting that a sixth series of Doctor Who is planned for transmission in 2011. Neil Gaiman is well known for his novels; Stardust and Coraline, both of which have been adapted into films, and for his comic book series, The Sandman. More details regarding Neil Gaiman's Doctor Who script will be posted when available.
