David Tennant recently returned to Cardiff to start work on the first Doctor Who 2009 special, Planet of the Dead. He recorded moments from his first day back in a video called The Tennant Tapes which has now been added to the BBC's official website for Doctor Who. As well as being available on the official Doctor Who website, the video can also be seen below:Planet of the Dead is written by Russell T Davies and Gareth Roberts and stars David Tennant as The Tenth Doctor and Michelle Ryan as Christin. The episode is currently being filmed and is expected to air on BBC One this Spring.
