The Ood to Return in Second Special

The Ood will be returning for the second Doctor Who special episode which is set to be broadcast later this year. One of the popular aliens was spotted in Newport this morning, filming for the episode with David Tennant, Lindsay Duncan and a small robot. The Ood first appeared in Doctor Who in the series two episodes, The Impossible Planet and The Satan Pit, and later returned in the series four episode, Planet of the Ood. The Ood which was seen is believed to be Ood Sigma, Mr Halpen's personal assistant from Planet of the Ood.
