Doctor Who BAFTA Nomination

Doctor Who has been nominated at the BAFTA Awards again this year in the Best Drama Series category. The show faces competition for the award from Shameless, Spooks and Wallander. Unlike previous years, Doctor Who has not been nominated in any other category but June Brown who played Lady Elanor in The Time Warrior and Anna Maxwell Martin who played Suki in The Long Game have both been nominated in the best actress category but not for their roles in Doctor Who. You can see the full list of this year's BAFTA nominations by clicking here. The awards will take place in London at the Royal Festival Hall on the 26th of April and the result of the Best Drama award will be posted on this website as soon as it is announced.
