The Slitheen Return for Red Nose Day

Legendary British comedian, Ronnie Corbett, revealed in a recent interview with The Daily Express that The Slitheen will be return for The Sarah Jane Adventures Red Nose Day mini episode. The Slitheen are an alien family of criminals who appeared in three episodes from Doctor Who series one. The huge creatures also featured in the first series of The Sarah Jane Adventures in the episodes, Revenge of the Slitheen and The Lost Boy. "They sent me the script and it really appealed, I play a bowler-hatted ambassador from outer space who visits Sarah Jane's attic. I'm beamed down in a bright green light and it's all very intriguing. We filmed it all in one very long and tiring day and K-9 was there along with the Slitheen. It was great fun."

The Sarah Jane Adventures Red Nose Day mini episode will be broadcast as part of The Comic Relief Telethon this Friday on BBC One. It is expected to air any time between 7pm and 8pm when the show will be presented by Davina McCall and 10th Doctor actor, David Tennant.
