Panini, the company behind Doctor Who Magazine, recently announced their new upcoming trading card game, Doctor Who: Alien Armies. There will be 260 cards to collect, 180 being standard cards, 40 being glitter foil cards, 20 being 'super foil' cards, and 20 being emboss cards. Doctor Who: Alien Armies will be launched across the United Kingdom and Ireland on the 1st of October, with a special starter pack which will include a collector's binder, a checklist, a gameboard and 18 starter cards. The starter pack will cost £4.99 and booster packs of cards, each consisting of six cards, will be sold at a regular retail price of 50p each. Will you be collecting these cards?

Ehh... the cards look a bit plain and ugly, well compared to the Battles in Time cards. I doubt I'll get these
I really don't see the point in these. It's basically top trumps, but flashier....
