When interviewed yesterday, John Barrowman, the multi-talented actor and singer who is well known for his role as Captain Jack Harkness in Doctor Who and Torchwood, revealed that Torchwood has been commissioned for a fourth series. John revealed this when he was a guest on 'the Steve Wright in the Afternoon' show on BBC Radio two, and also announced that Torchwood would return to the thirteen episode format, rather then the five episode one which was used for the show's third series which saw it's broadcast earlier this year. John Barrowman will reprise his role as Captain Jack for the fourth series of Torchwood, but it is currently unknown if Eve Myles, who has starred in the shown since it's first episode, will be returning, due to the fact that she is expecting her first child next year. The latest news on the upcoming fourth series of Torchwood will be posted here, on The Gallifrey Vortex, when available.
