Steven Mofatt, the new lead writer of Doctor Who, has revealed inside his first production notes in the latest issue of Doctor Who Magazine the complete list of writers who have written stories for Doctor Who's fifth series. Beforehand, it had already been confirmed that Richard Curtis, Mark Gattis and Gareth Roberts would be writing episodes for the series starring Matt Smith and Karen Gillan as The Doctor and Amy Pond. Steven Moffatt confirmed that he has written six of the thirteen episodes and revealed that Toby Whithouse, Chris Chibnall and Simon Nye have also penned stories. Toby Whithouse who previously wrote the series two episode, School Reunion, has written a story that reportedly features vampires which if some reports are correct will be called 'Vampires of Venice'.
