Doctor Who Series Five Broadcast Date

An edited version of last night's new Doctor Who trailer was broadcast on BBC Two today, featuring the date of which the fifth series of Doctor Who will transmit. The trailer has revealed that the series will begin broadcast with hour long episode, The Eleventh Hour, introducing Matt Smith as The Doctor, and Karen Gillan as his companion, Amy Pond, on Saturday the third of April. This means that there are now only forty-one days to wait until Doctor Who returns to television screens across the United Kingdom and Ireland. From now to the third of April, the date may change, but any news regarding the air date and the fifth series of Doctor Who will be posted here, on The Gallifrey Vortex, as soon as they are made available.
