Doctor Who Returns With Series Five Tonight

Today is the day that Doctor Who fans have been looking forward to for a very long time, as we are now only hours away from the fifth series of Doctor Who. The series has been anticipated for a very long time, and now the wait is nearly over, with the BBC tonight transmitting The Eleventh Hour, introducing Matt Smith as The Eleventh Doctor and Karen Gillan as Amy Pond. The episode picks off where The Tenth Doctor era finished, with The Eleventh Doctor, straight from regeneration, crash landing to Earth, where he will meet Amy Pond and join with her for a encounter with the Atraxi and Prisoner Zero. It will receive it's hour long broadcast tonight at 6:20pm on BBC One, and in high definition over on the BBC HD channel, with it's accompanying episode of Doctor Who Confidential, Call me the Doctor, following on BBC Three. Come back to The Gallifrey Vortex on Easter for a new Doctor Who trailer, and the latest details regarding series five.
