The long list for the 2009 National Television Awards have now been revealed, and Doctor Who and it's spin-off show, Torchwood, have both been nominated in the Best Drama category. Doctor Who has won the award four years in a row but still faces competition from Torchwood and many other shows such as Primeval, Heroes, Merlin, Robin Hood, Spooks, and Ashes to Ashes. In the Drama Performance category, David Tennant who is well known for his role as the The Doctor in Doctor Who and John Barrowman and Eve Myles who are well known for their roles as Captain Jack Harkness and Eve Myles in Torchwood, have all been nominated, along with many other actors and actresses. A voting form can be filled out online by clicking here at the official website for the National Television Awards. The results will be announced at The National Telivison Awards ceremony at the 02 Arena in London, on the 20th of January. Will you be voting in these awards?
